The Revised Common Lectionary is used by churches around the world including Baptist, Episcopalian, Lutheran, Presbyterian, Reformed, Church of Christ, Methodist, Unitarian & more. This provides an opportunity to find common ground with fellow believers. We are Ecumenical, recognizing evidence of God in many denominations.

Four Scripture readings are prescribed for each Sunday beginning in Advent: 

1. Old Testament or Acts,

2. Psalms,

3. Epistles or Revelation

4. One of the 4 Gospels...

• Matthew, year A: 2016, 2019, 2022, etc.

• Mark, year B: 2017, 2020, 2023, etc.

• Luke, year C: 2018, 2021, 2024, etc.

• John is read at Eastertide, and also other liturgical seasons including Advent, Christmastide, and Lent where appropriate.
